Two separate information has been given by his daughter, Virginia and another by Abraham Claveria, a former neighbor.

Virginia M. Taburnal:
It is said that after Facundo went missisng, U.S. military officers informed his children at Fort Bonifacio (then McKinley) that he was MIA. Though a friend of Facundo also an officer in the Scouts is said to have seen Facundo gunned down by a Japanese sniper in Tarlac. None of this facts have been verified.
